Assignar-Xero: Payroll

Assignar-Xero Payroll Integration

The Integration syncs the hours (units) recorded against employees in the Assignar timesheets via the check-in/check-out function or manual user input (through the Assignar Dashboard or the mobile app). Rates are then applied in Xero based on mapping configured during the initial setup.

  • Set the pay rates in Xero based on Assigner time codes
  • Option to round time recorded to the following increments: 15mins, 30mins, 1hr

  • Enter all employee details into Assignar
  • Enter all employee details into Xero
  • Select a pay calendar for each employee in Xero
  • Set the earnings rate/s on the pay template in Assignar
  • Invite 5.5 Degrees to Xero as a new user with ‘Payroll Permissions’

    1. When the integration syncs, a draft time sheet is created in Xero and populated with time recorded (units) in the Assignar approved timesheeets. The data from Assignar will be synced to Xero on a fixed schedule (as configured during setup).

2. The Payroll Administrator should review the Assignar data and confirm it is correct (e.g. with store managers or employees) prior to the end of the pay period. Any adjustments should be made in the Assignar timesheets prior to the scheduled sync time of the integration (as incorrect data may be synced to Xero).3. At the end of the pay period, the Payroll Administrator will approve the draft timesheets and generate a draft pay run. All hours recorded in the timesheets will then be transferred to the employees pay slip.
